When you hire Social Butterflies, you get a full time dedicated planner to plan and execute your event- as if it were the only event on our calendar! We want the planning process to be fun and enjoyable and believe you can have fun and work hard while doing it! Michelle brings the creative edge to marry your ideas with her unique design, bringing your visions to life and at the same time working on the logistics, budgets and more! We only accept one full service wedding or event per weekend, ensuring you have our utmost attention.

All About Michelle
Michelle has a daughter, Juliana or “Jules” (age 10) and a son, Calvin (age 5). She is happily married to her college beaux, Darrin, and they love to travel and entertain friends and family! Michelle’s faith in God is the most important piece of her life and she gives Him all the Glory for the success of Social Butterflies and blessing her life so richly to allow her to live out her dreams.
Michelle strives to stay current in the industry by taking continuing education classes and attending conferences in the special events industry twice a year. She has been actively involved in the local NACE chapter and served on the board as the Director of Programs for 4 years. In addition to planning and designing events, Michelle continues to write freelance for several magazines including Southern Bride and Click!, where she has a monthly entertainment column, to keep her journalism skills alive.
